Soccer Expert Chris Sutton Faces Off Against Artist Olly Murs in Top Flight Forecasts

Arsenal's ten-match victorious run came to an end by Sunderland prior to the international hiatus, however can the Premier League frontrunners bounce back against local foes Tottenham this Sunday?

"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this match," stated football specialist Chris Sutton.

"The Spurs manager will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating best this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still find a way to win."

Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this term, versus artificial intelligence, readers and a range of special visitors.

For the twelfth round, he faces performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United supporter.

Murs' latest album, the new release, is out on Friday.

Soccer and Parenting Experiences

Murs is a skilled soccer player as well as a accomplished artist and has been a star of several Soccer Aid matches over time - but he is not planning a professional return as a footballer.

"{I recently played in a benefit game the other evening for a friend of mine," he said. "My team was losing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you want!

"I still love football, but I injured my joint a few years ago and it even now isn't where I want it to be. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too risky for me in my career to do it properly again.

"Additionally I am forty-one now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my daughter or boy decides to play instead."

The singer and his wife Amelia Tank have a young family, Madison and Albert, and he is prepared to emulate his dad by taking on the role of their coach.

"I won't force football on our children but I've already told my wife that if they do get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will likely be coaching their Saturday football side," he added.

"I observed my relatives play a lot, and I really got into it, and I clearly owned a football club for a while too.

"My father coached with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I inherited it. He managed our side for several years and had a wonderful time with it. That might be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"

Premier League Forecasts

  • Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT

Chelsea may have to wait a bit longer for Cole Palmer's return from injury but their offense is now stronger with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both returned to fitness.

In my opinion this fixture will be fairly close, however. Burnley are disciplined and their only home defeats so far have been against Liverpool and Arsenal.

This smells of a one-all draw to me, but I am actually going to choose Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third league win in a row.

Sutton's prediction: 1-2

Olly's prediction: The Blues will be superior. 1-3

AI's outlook: 0-2

  • Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT

Bournemouth have been defeated in their previous couple games - albeit both of them were on the road - but they got thoroughly beaten by Aston Villa last time out which shocked me.

On the other hand, West Ham secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those fixtures were at their stadium, they do look strong again.

The Hammers' sole on the road win this season came at Nottingham Forest in August, when their boss Nuno Espirito Santo was previously that team's manager.

So, what exactly do I predict here - can the Hammers extending their run under Nuno, or the home side responding?

I am going to go with Bournemouth, because I believe what occurred against Aston Villa was a anomaly.

Sutton's prediction: 2-0

The guest's prediction: The home team are doing well but the visitors have improved under Nuno. 2-2

The algorithm's prediction: 1-1

  • Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT

Brentford were considered one of the favourites for the drop before the campaign began, but they have impressed a several people under their manager and are in fine fettle with three in their past four games.

A family member told me to select Bees striker Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks ago and, guess what, I didn't listen.

Thiago will likely score again on the weekend but I am still not going to select him or back the away side at Amex Stadium.

The Bees have not had great success on the travel this season, and Brighton are consistently decent at home. Brentford will attempt to attack on the counter-attack but I think the home manager's side carry much more of a danger.

The analyst's forecast: 2-1

Olly's prediction: It could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a lot of scores but it in reality proves to be rather close. 1-1

The computer's prediction: 2-1

  • Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT

It is a massive fixture for Fulham, who have lost five of their past six games.

Fulham have got lots of talent in their team but it nonetheless feels like they could be dragged into a relegation battle.

As for the Black Cats, well they are the unexpected success of the Premier League season so far.

Their performance in the 2-2 draw with the Gunners last time out was superb. We have not seen anyone else rough up the North London side like that this term, and they were fully competitive for them.

The sensible thing to do to back the visitors here, because they are clearly capable of roughing the hosts up too and, the last time they were in this part of London, they beat Chelsea at the close of last month.

But I am not choose that. Instead, I really need to continue going against Sunderland with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their good outcomes because they clearly enjoy to prove me wrong.

Looking at Fulham's home form, the sole team they have lost to is Arsenal. Their manager's team will be absolutely eager for a good outcome, so I am going to say they will pick up three points.

The expert's forecast: 1-0

Olly's choice: I'm aware the visitors are performing strongly and also that Fulham are on a bad streak... but Fulham have nonetheless been decent at Craven Cottage this campaign. 2-0

The algorithm's prediction: 2-0

  • Anfield, 15:00 GMT

This is a tough one to call. The Reds have suffered seven of their past 10 games in every tournament, but could they be among the teams who profit from the {international break|
