The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the usual face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually proceeding.
