Devoted followers of the actress are calling for that a person who jumped a fence and seized the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good launch be detained or deported from Singapore.

A circulating clip reveals the Australian man pushing past camera operators and rushing toward Grande while the cast walked down a yellow carpet flanked by fans.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the event by security officers.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "released after being arrested", though official papers indicated that he was set to be present on the next day. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has disrupted a concert or event. His Instagram profile features videos of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney performance in June this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers concert in the same location last year.

"Steps should be implemented taken against him as this is evidently a punishable act," stated an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user questioned.

Fans Voice Worry Over Grande's Safety

Numerous fans blamed Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had discussed experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the conclusion of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" wrote a further response on Instagram.

Some supporters also criticised guards at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while others requested online networks to block Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Event Details

In clips spreading on the internet, Grande appeared shocked when she was approached by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.

Fans at Wicked premiere
Hundreds of Singapore attendees had lined up to greet the cast of Wicked

Hundreds of fans had assembled in a sea of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good international premiere in a Singapore mall, including a number who had waited for as long as many hours before it started.

The movie, to be premiered on 21 November, is the follow-up of a two-film interpretation of the popular theatrical musical Wicked, which revolves around the unexpected bond between two distinct sorceresses.

The production itself is a adaptation of the classic children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the good witch Glinda, was adorned in a light pink glittering gown at the event while Erivo, who portrays the wicked witch, wore a elegant ensemble embroidered with roses.

They were alongside fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the highest-grossing movie of 2024 in the UK, and received ten award recognitions, securing a pair for excellent wardrobe and artistic direction.
